but we don't own these assets.
The rich people do.
to kid ourselves we do is buying into a pathetic feel good fantasy.
if we don't start from what's actually going down
we'll be pulling ourselves forever
>> It was a failure at the physical network/firewall level, it doesn't matter what runs on the client machines. <<
Um.. no. The firewall protects the network from intruders coming into the network from outside it, through the internet connection. The MSD debacle was a failure of file permissions, ie, every computer on the network had permission to view every file on the network. This is bad.
A linux OS on the client machines, and a linux fileserver at the back-end,...

If you do decide to appeal to the Supreme Court, I hope they will follow the logic of their previous ruling - that the illegally obtained evidence was inadmissible for the Arms Act charges. If they do, your charges, like those against the rest of the Operation 8 defendents, will be thrown out. Please let us know what we can do to support you. "An injury to one is an injury to all" -...
whats your defination of violence? because the majority of effective social change has come about by non violent direct action playing a part and that means civil disobedience , property destruction and the like but no physical violence against any living beings. Groups that advocate pacisfism are usually so ineffective as they extend their warped idea of violence to throwing a brick through a scummy corporations window or the like.

Tame Iti responded to the 40-page Court of Appeal document dismissing his appeal today.
"The court decision really only affects my body... not my mind or thinking - I AM free and I will continue to use my time in Waikeria constructively, I paint everyday and contribute to the prison community. New Zealand knows me as a Tuhoe activist, so they will be pleased to learn that even in prison... I remain an active Tuhoe."

Sarah Palin, Margret Thatcher, Golda Meir, Mrs Gandi, Jenny Shipley, Helen Clark, Paula Bennet, yes, let's make a fast move to liberation and the matriarchy by electing woman equally, politically, economically, culturally, judicially, and religio-wise.
It is not just those facing criminal charges that will be hard done by. Try taking WINZ to court about them breaking the law, bending rules virtually daily. You need to first of all try and find a lawyer interested to assist in civil legal matters, then write and present a report to Legal Aid to convince them of a sound enough chance to succeed with court action, then the lawyer will be discourages, as the legal aid to be paid will barely cover actual costs.
One law for all is a total...
The security problems at WINZ were so bad Linux couldn't save them. It was a failure at the physical network/firewall level, it doesn't matter what runs on the client machines.
